The Nevis Inn is a very atmospheric pub-cum-restaurant in an old converted stone barn at the foot of Ben Nevis. Ben Nevis being the very mountain, that I am aspiring to climb! It has mountaineering memorabilia and equipment around the walls giving the impression of a meeting point for those who climb and worship the mountains, which essentially it is!This is a place where you can hear piped traditional Scottish music and often in the evenings you hear live music of the Scottish variety! That is, if you can get in the door of an evening, as it is very popular. If you are going to visit, I'd recommend lunch time
They also do some pretty good food, most of it is traditional Scottish food, using good fresh, local ingredients! The mussels above, were fabulous, french style (cooked in wine and cream) and of course gluten free!
