what can happen if a person drinks too much alcohol and uses pennsaid topic oinment?

my husband was under the influence of alcohol while taking pennsaid and ended up having some type of reaction which resulted in him becoming very aggressive and aggitated and even began hurting himself and I think it was due to some type of over adrenaline rush from taking the medication.  Has anyone ever heard of what alcohol related side affects are associated with pennsaid?
