Lion's Roar

Posted Nov 23 2009 10:03pm

Thanks to Ed over at Living a Principled Life for my very first blog award. I'm especially grateful for his patient explanation on how to participate in this blog loving award circle of fun. I hate having to choose just 6 bloggers whose words both whisper gently and roar with passion so I'll just list some of them:
  • Being Sober - Mary's blog was the very first sober blog I began to read regularly at the beginning of last year. I spent like an hour or so riveted to her fantastic blog and have returned ever since. This blog totally inspired me to begin this one.
  • Higher Powered - I love Dave's blog, the title, his sense of humor and his continual gratitude toward life. It's contagious.
  • Living a Principled Life - As someone relatively new to this way of life, I love reading Ed perspective on sobriety and what it means to really live a sober life.
  • Sobriety is Exhausting - Pam's blog is just awesome.
  • I'm just F.I.N.E - Syd's blog was the first non-sober AA blog I read and loved. His insight and spiritual seeking shine through.
  • AHA Moments - Tales of striving to be happy, joyous and free...what's not to love?
  • Subdural Flow - The second non-sober AA blog I read and also loved. Who knew there were people outside of AA practicing spiritual princples and getting free?
  • Infactorium - Normally, I'm such a bit hesistant to read or listen to anyone newer than me in sobriety (a serious character defect), but I love reading Infactorium's tales of navigating the second year of sobriety.
  • Another Sober Alcoholic - Steve was the first person to welcome me to the sober blog world and I always grateful for his continued words of encouragement.
  • Attitude of Gratitude - Scott's blog has one of my favorite quote, although I thought it was an Oprah quote until I read his blog ("If the only prayer you said in your life was thank you, that would suffice.") Plus, I absolutely love his artwork.
-I'm sure there are more, but all this linking has me tuckered out.
