Hi, my name is kevin and Im clean and sober since the 22nd of last month! Im in a program at U.S.Vets, las vegas. Ive been a member of AA (not always in good standing) since 1984. Im 52 yrs old and I came into this program because the pain and shame of my addiction was killing me. I have no urge to drink or drug, I go to in house meetings every night, by choice, but its all men! Is it so bad to want to converse with someone of the oppiste sex?! Im not looking for a partner, or lover or any of that, I would  just like to have a few female friends I can talk to on occasion. Also what is a good chat room for AAers? I havent been on a computer for almost (2) yrs! Im a bit rustly when it comes to navagating.
