todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful
that I can miss one of my regular AA meetings and stay sane(ish)
that Mom made it through another month alive
that a majority of the time, I'd rather be happy than right
for some apparent major progress on finding a cure for HIV/AIDS

that I live in a vibrant city that has escaped much of the economic woes of most of the rest of the country (so far)
