My firstborn Grad so ready…yet still unsure of which path you’ll take.
There are four lessons I pray that I’ve taught you well, in spite of my flaws:
The value of faith is not for your life only~ we all must share it.
The power of love~ to save, to create, and to give life purpose.
That education is only wasted when the mind closes too young.
And that joy is not something that’s manufactured. It springs from within.
Time to make you fly, to “peck you out” of the nest… (though it breaks my heart)
My firm conviction is that you have already spread your wings to soar.
When YOU realize how high you can really go, no one will stop you.
I love you kiddo. I did the best I could do. Now, go do that, too.
