Thanks for all the well-wishes for my exam today. It was quite tricky, mostly because I failed to read the full directions on one of the sections. I read the "Please write" and did not read the "the full name. No abbreviations." I'm hoping for some partial credit there since I actually knew all of the material. This feels a lot like hoping that my half-measures will avail me half, at least here.
I'm excited to go to work tomorrow and trying my hand at this project that needs to be done in the next couple of weeks. I'm also excited to be flying down to see my family I haven't seen since winter break. The site xaspeakers is my favorite travel tool. There are so many amazing speakers on there- I downloaded 4 new ones for my long car ride as well as Chuck C's series of talks that were transcribed and published as A New Pair of Glasses.
More importantly, I'm grateful to learn about the liver (of all things) and realize what a piss-poor job I did tending to my body and how fortunate I am that there was no serious, permanent injury after years of drinking and drug use. I heart my liver :)
