Dell Inspiron 1501 batteryis the best battery I can recommend to all Dell Inspiron users. The battery has a long life especially if you are residing in areas that do not have enough power supply. In addition, it is also heavy making portability easier.
Experience I have had
I happened to go for an African Safari with my Dell Inspiron 1501 adapter and my machine loaded with the original battery. The camp I was staying used generator power and it was only available in the evening and early in the morning. The battery was long lasting and it enabled me save all the exciting pictured I captured and also have time to upload them on my site which was a great experience.
Features of the adapter
The Dell Inspiron 1501 adapter is loaded with many features. It only weighs 15.84 ounces and has a dimension of 6.7 inches by 4.5 inches by 1.8 inches. It has an input AC current of 100-240V which is an equivalent of 1.6A and 50/60Hz. This capacity enabled me to charge my laptop even with the 220V power I was using in the camp. The adapter has an output of 19.5V, 3.34A, 65W of Direct Current (DC) which will help the battery last longer. Another great advantage I received upon buying the adapter and the battery is that I received a whole year warranty of replacement which I saw to be a big deal.
• The portability feature that is favored by the lightweight and beautifully designed dimensions that help the adapter fit well in the laptop bag. You can virtually carry it anywhere.
• The replacement warranty of a whole year is also a big deal considering other cheap adapters may only give you warranties of just 6 months. This means that the adapter is durable and can last long.
• Were it not for the 100-240V adapter, I may not have used my laptop on the camp. This is the AC current there was not strong enough but I could still charge my battery and do my work. Additionally, the 19.5V DC output cannot damage my machine.
Though the adapter can only be used on AC current and the Dell Inspiron 1501 battery can only be charged by an AC adapter, I have no any problems for the nine months I have used them.
