what causes the bottoms of my feet to be dark colored, almost black?

Posted by Edith Jenkins

There is not a category that fits my question. I scrub my feet, wear white socks, but the bottoms are almost always dark. Is this a circulation issue?

I' not a physician and nowhere have I personally come across this.. I am sorry but I have no idea what might be causing this.

One suggesiton is you might want to chart your diet and exercise on a daily basis and see if there is a difference in the look of your feet  that is related to these factors.

I noticed when I stopped smoking cigarettes the darkness cleared up so if you smoke that may be what is causing the darkness in the bottom of your feet.
