suddenly i have severe shakes and chill, why

i have had sever shakes and chill for the past three nights.  started with lower back pain.

I'm not a physician but what you describe sounds like what many feel when they get the flu.  If you still feel that way you should call your medical provider who knows you best.

Hi Michelle

I am sorry to hear you are having these new and difficult symptoms.  Do you have neuropathy too from the Lyme?  I have shaking all the time and I have chills at times during night when I move in bed.  For me, sweats the first part of the night, chills the second part.  Inner shaking all the time.  No lower back pain..  COuld it be from meds?  Certainly sounds like something you could ask your LLMD about.
