Help!! My VERY active daughter is constantly on the go. She will NOT sit in a carriage, or a stroller, for more than 10 minutes.
Well. she goes through spurts where she gets wriggly when I change her diaper, and has NEVER liked getting dresses. Basically, she cannot stand being confined.
Lately, it's HORRIBLE. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten poop all over myself, the floor, the changing table, her. because she will not stay still. Nothing works! I can barely get her Pandora Charms UK dressed most days, and she cries/wriggles herself away from me. I have actually had to practically sit on her so she doesn't make a mess everywhere.
Anyone else going through this? She is SO bad and I don't know what to do. It's so frustrating :( Other than that, she's such a love, and so happy.
DD throws fits too sometimes. Usually a book or toy or song will keep her occupied long enough for me to change her diaper. Getting her changed, i've resorted to just dressing her while she's standing or crawling around. Thank goodness not many of her shirts have snaps anymore!
The week where she WOULD NOT sit still for diaper changes I too put one leg over her to hold her down while I changed her diaper. She screamed bloody murder but she was fine. I'm sure this phase will pass soon! At least I sure HOPE it does!
My LO HATES diaper changes too! ÂShe will fight and struggle til she rolls over and then crawls up the changing pad thing to get into stuff on the table. ÂShe is so dangerous. ÂObviously I NEVER leave her unattended up there. ÂI can sometimes distract her with something she shouldn't have like her diaper cream or spray bottle, another diaper, a hair clip that is on the table etc. Pandora Bracelet ÂBut I feel like it is a wrestling match. Â A lot of times I spray and wipe her bum when she is in the crawling position. ÂThen I flip her over and lay my forearm across her tummy to keep her in position to put the diaper on. ÂTHen most of the time I take her off the table to get her dressed because that is a little easier. ÂI have no advice just sympahy. ÂI hope this passes!!!
Oh my gosh I am so sorry and yet SO glad I am not the only one who is going through this terrible time with diaper changes. I got into my first fight with my LO the other night where I was http://www.ukcharmsjewellery.co.uk/ yelling NO at him and crying because I felt so bad while changing his diaper. I felt like I was totally manhandeling him. He would not sit still and he got poop all over him, me, and the table.
