We spent Sunday and Monday on Anglesey, (an island off the coast of North Wales) trying to find a house to live in for 6 months when we move there in approximately 6 weeks time.
To cut a long story short, my partner, Chris, is a marine electrical engineer and he's been offered premises in a new marina which is about to be built on the island and which should be finished in about two years' time. Given a computer and a phone line, I can work from anywhere and, when you combine this with the fact that I've wanted to live by the sea for as long as I can remember, the decision to move became a no-brainer. Chris has been able to locate temporary showroom and workshop premises on the island, the contracts are being worked on by the lawyers and so the next logical step was to find somewhere for us to live whilst we tidy up our own house and get it ready for sale.
