My doctor says I have symptoms typical for acid reflux disease: a heavyness in the chest; fatigue; heavy breathing; chest discomfort that stops me from even light exertion. She has prescribed Ativan while we check out heart problems and so on. I am 66, weigh 160 pounds, and have always been in good health. Ativan doesn't make sense to me; does it make sense to you? thank you very much!
