Is a ferritin level of 800 extremely high

What can you tell me about high ferritin levels and chronic cough. I've seen on different websites that there is a distinct link between the two.

I'm not a physician - but as with many tests - the meaning of the result varies with all sorts of other factors.   So it's best that the result be discussed with the person's physician who has access to all other tests for that person.
If your number is accurate then, yes, it's high. The range is 24-336 NG/ML. Consult a doctor and request another iron panel.
asthma can apparently cause elevated ferritin levels - as can any inflamatory disease
