I strapped my heart rate monitor this morning and headed to the gym for 40 minutes of Couch-to-5K on the treadmill. About 30 minutes into it, I looked at my heart rate, which was at 35 and dropping. It caught me off guard because I was in the middle of watching the news, so I took a moment to regroup and to make sure that I wasn't dying. I guess the band got twisted or something because the heart rate jumped back up to 140+ once I adjusted it. Hence, I blog tonight alive and well ;-)



I burned about 320 calories in the meantime.



Breakfast
1 c. Kashi cereal

1 c. skim milk

1 c. strawberries





Snacks
1 cheese stick
1 chocolate chip muffin
tall iced tea lemonade from Starbucks










Lunch
1 whole wheat bagel square
turkey and swiss
mustard




*Don't be too envious of my heart-shaped Barbie plate!







Dinner

Green salad w/ chicken and feta

2 lowfat cookies

1 glass Crystal Light lemonade
