I'm feeling fortunate tonight for two reasons: 1) my back is on the mend and 2) I have a great work situation. As I was uploading my photos from today, I thought back to breakfast (granola bar and 8 oz. of skim milk with a sugar-free Carnation Instant Breakfast):
This was taken from our patio table while I was working and watching the kids swim. Being a work at home mom is not easy - don't get me wrong. But, having a few weeks to enjoy time with the kids before the school year chaos begins is priceless. After I finished most of the day's pressing deadlines, I took them out front for some sidewalk chalk (found these huge chalk sticks on sale at Target the other day for $.59!) and outdoor play:
My nutrition has definitely been off for the past several days, which has a lot to do with not feeling well and not exercising! I'm looking foward to another "reboot" tomorrow. Since I have to be in Miami to be with a client during a television interview, it will be early to bed and early to rise for me!
Lunch was a cup of the boy's macaroni and cheese with a cup of baby carrots. I dipped a few in light ranch dip. I snacked on a piece of string cheese.
