Do Charles and Camilla have the perfect arrangement?

This article , from Mail Online, discusses the somewhat unusual living arrangements of Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall. According to the writers, Richard Kay and Geoffrey Levy, the couple live almost separate lives - he at Highgrove and she at Raymill House, her own home which is 17 miles away.
Apparently, the couple are so set in their ways - he is obsessionally neat and she is renowned for her untidiness, that their increasing impatience and frustration with each other has lead them to pursue this more unusual domestic arrangement.
Sounds perfect to me! I don't agree with the fact that the British taxpayer has to foot the extra £2 million security bill for Camilla's home - I'm sure that C and C have more than enough money between them to be able to afford to pay for this themselves, but if they still love each other yet find it difficult to live together, why on earth shouldn't they have separate residences if they can afford to and the arrangement works for both of them?
What do you think? Could you handle separate residences? Do you think your relationship would improve? Or would that be a step too far? Please feel free to leave a comment below?
