I report on various skin topics on a weekly basis. I write for the Examiner, Modern Moms, Busy Moms Online, and have even been published in Parenting Magazine among many others. My eye product reviews are read by thousands of people, and I genuinely try to suggest the best eye products whenever possible.
Recently, a brand I know well, called Wrinkle System, released what they call a "Dark Circle Serum." While I was skeptical at first at any treatment that claims to get rid of the nasty, filthy dark circles that form under our eyes, I decided to write the company and ask if I could try one in exhange for my professional opinion and reivew.
I must say, this eye serum blew me away from the start.
The serum is dispensed through a medicinal, precision-based eye dropper. This is a huge advantage over regular airless pumps, which can often times dispense way too much serum for my liking. The precision dropper allows for correct application and will ensure you never over-dispense any of the product. Beauty products can get up there in price, so you never want to waste product in any manner.
This product is made of rice and soy peptides, seaweeed extract, and wheat proteins, among other ingredients. I can honestly say I was really looking forward to the natural ingredient mix as a change to my normal cosmeceutical blend of ingredients, and it did not dissappoint.
Clinical testing says that this eye serum removes dark circles by 35% - I have to say I beat that an would have tested in the upper tier of the trial team. My dark circles have vanished after only 2 weeks of use, and I must say that I feel very fresh when I apply it each morning. It's a quick-absobing serum, which is always nice. My skin is also more smooth and I've seen that natural redness that usually shows in the mornings has gone down as well.
Overall, an impressive product that I'd suggest anyone trying to get rid of dark circles under the eyes take a long look at.
