Busy Week Ahead

Well, I made it to the charity walk today with no issues, thankfully. It took place along the beach in Hollywood (Fla.), and you can usually count on it being a bit cooler at the ocean. Not today! It was warm and muggy with just an occasional breeze. We walked about two miles, and the little helper that I brought with me did a great job all things considered ;-)

I'm looking at a busy week ahead, which will present some challenges for eating and exercise. The secret is in the planning, so I'll just look at each day and figure out how to fit it all in!


Breakfast
1/2 c. orange juice
1 whole wheat English muffin
1 T. almond butter
1 t. strawberry jelly

Lunch
1 Jersey Mike's turkey sub on whole wheat with turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, oil, and vinegar
1 package 100 calorie cookies

*Snacks
2 Laughing Cow cheese wedges
handful of pretzel crisps
1 cheese stick
3 slices chicken

*I felt that the snacks were a little off today, and I should have grabbed some baby carrots or heated up some vegetable soup instead of going for the cheese and all. I found myself very tired around 3:30 this afternoon and should have opted for a nap, honestly. Instead, I did chores, started grazing, and thankfully realized it before things got really out of control!

Dinner
Taco Salad (lettuce, tomato, salsa, 3/4 c. ground beef, 1 small tortilla)
