Here’s the biggest preview yet of the Air Jordan 2011 “Year of the Rabbit”—release date scheduled for Saturday, February 19th. The design of the shoe pays tribute to this year’s Chinese zodiac symbol, featuring white, grey and red on the upper. The AJ2011 Year of the Rabbit will retail for $180.A month or so back, I shared a look at a special Oregon Ducks Air Jordan IX, a shoe most of the Supra Kids Shoes football team wore in the lead-up to the BCS National Championship. Well finally, a month later, we have a detailed look at the shoe. The Air Jordan 9–Oregon Ducks PE sports a very simple colorway, featuring black nubuck over the entire upper with silver accenting and Oregon’s O logo in place of the usual AJ9 rubber globe on the heel. Check out several more looks under the cut, provided by NikeTalk’s nystatenisland. And if you desperately want a pair, eBay user 2010peach2010 is selling two pairs for a pretty significant fee. (Although before you drop $650 on a pair of shoes, make sure to note his feedback, or Supra Muska lack thereof.)About a week ago we shared some pretty big news, namely that 2011 would see an Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” release date. This particular AJ11 “Taxi” will be a lowtop version, and features all the usual elements of the classic shoe: white leather upper, black faux-reptile print forefoot-mudguard, yellow pulltab on heel-collar. Check out a few more looks under the cut, and stick with NikeBlog for release updates. If your eyes were inexorably drawn to Dwyane Wade’s feet during yesterday’s game, you had a good reason. Last night, Wade debuted the Air Jordan 2011 Black/Black, which features its signature mudguard comprised completely of patent leather. No word yet on a release date, but stick with NikeBlog for updates. Here’s the latest Air Jordan 2011 commercial starring comedian Kevin Hart who, at this point, might as well be the non-athlete spokesperson for the shoe. The Air Jordan 2011 releases widely on February 19th, with a special release on February 3rd.Well, we’ve already known that the Holiday 2011 schedule will include an Air Jordan 11 “Concord” release date, but now we have another official confirmation from Nike in the form of their release schedule being posted to NikeTalk.com. So that’s a wrap, it’s official. Again. The product number for the AJ11 “Concord” will be Supra Women Shoes 378037-107, and you should expect the shoe to hit stores in December 2011 for $175.Here’s a close-up, detailed look at the Air Jordan 2011 “Year of the Rabbit”–release date set for February 3rd. Note especially the rather unique packaging, as well as the beautiful contrast created by the shoe’s choice of colors. Plenty more views under the cut.The Air Jordan 2011 release date is set for February 19th, in three initial colorways: white/varsity royal-deep royal, team red/team red-white and white/black-anthracite. (The “Year of the Rabbit” colorway releases on 2/3, but that’s a special release and exempt from this discussion.) Here’s a good look at the red and blue versions (we’ve seen plenty of the white/black pair; click here and here for Supra Vaider more on that), which, based on release date and colors, could double as NBA All-Star version.Nike has finally released their official media kit for the Air Jordan 2011, although at this point I guess we already know quite a bit about it. The shoe features a leather based upper with a textured, perforated mudguard sort of similar aesthetically to the Air Jordan 11. The feature unique to this shoe is the removable midsole, making the Air Jordan 11 essentially custom fit to two completely different types of player. The red midsole-insert features a 3/4-length Air unit with Supra Thunder Cushlon padding, ideal for players who do a lot of jumping and banging in the post and thus need a lot of cushioning. The blue, “Be Quick” midsole-insert features Zoom Air for players who rely more on lateral quickness and so require more responsiveness out of their shoe. The official Air Jordan 2011 release date is set for February 19th in three colorways, although the special edition Air Jordan 2011 “Year of the Rabbit” release date comes two weeks earlier, on February 3rd.
