I decided that I need to be going back on the old Weight Watchers.

In January 2007 I weighed in at the heaviest I've ever been. I am 5'6" and I was 200 lbs. I had been on a mix of medications for anxiety/depression, which had packed on some extra weight. To top it off, I was also bouncing around on thyroid medication for hypothyroid. In March 2007 I went on Atkins, then on South Beach, then finally on Weight Watchers.

From March 2007 to March 2008 I went from 200 lbs to 165 lbs. 35 lbs baby! Woot!

I still have a ways to go. I want to get back to my college weight of 135 lbs, which would also give me a healthy BMI. The problem is I like to eat sweets and pop, and I hate physical activity!

I know that my body will take a beating from the fertility medications and also being pregnant. I'd rather try to get as healthy as possible in order to get pregnant, and to also have a healthy pregnancy. I have read that if you are physically active and fit before pregnancy, then it is easier to lose the weight after the baby. I don't know if that's true. I just want to make sure that I am trying to be as healthy as possible, in order to make things work for my body. :)
