A good vitamin and mineral supplement helps ADHD for one simple reason.
It gives the body the nutrition it needs.
"In the 1960's, Professor Linus Pauling, winner of two Nobel Prizes, proved that over 60 diseases can be traced to mineral deficiencies alone. He later summarized his research findings, saying: "You can trace every sickness, every disease and every ailment, to a mineral deficiency."
"The US Government stated in Senate Document 264 from the 74th Congress in 1936: "99% of the American people are deficient in minerals…"
"The Earth Summit Statistics meeting in 1992 revealed conclusively that in the past 100 years, farmlands in North America have become 85% micronutrient depleted.
If it could be summed up into 1 statement, it would be this; "Our cells are starved for proper nutrition."
This is why a good vitamin and mineral supplement helps ADHD. It gives the body the essentials that it is lacking. There are so many causes that people come up with for ADHD. I don't know what exactly causes it.
I do know that our bodies are very sensitive. Foods, chemicals, artificial ingredients, colors and so on make us wired.
