Just hours away from ushering in the new year here in New York!
We just had a fabulous New Year’s Eve dinner: A variety of steaks cooked on the grill with skin-on mashed potatoes and “massaged” kale salad
Shell steak, sirloin, and flank steak pinwheels which I didn’t have any of
Raw kale massaged with olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt + pepper, marinaded overnight in fridge
Deeeelish! The shell steak was so tender and flavorful, makes me never want to buy tenderloin again! I didn’t care for the sirloin that much, and opted not to have any of the pinwheels. My mom actually went to buy a beef tenderloin today, but they were all out. Knowing how picky I am, she brought home one of each, LOL.
