You may have had a great weekend, relaxed and pushed off from the everyday grind you experience Monday through Friday at work. So, why is it that you are starting to get stressed out or bummed out about heading back to work Monday morning?
Well you are not alone, especially in the ADD/ADHD world. Most people across the board hate the thought of heading back to work Monday mornings. With the challenge of staying focused and organized which may ADD’ers face, this task can be even more challenging. Here are a couple tips that I find to be very helpful when my Sunday night blues set in and work is looming on Monday morning:
1. Have your week planned out in advance as best as you can
2. Have your “to do” list for Monday completed Friday before your work day ends. It eliminates the worry on Sunday
We all have two choices on Monday morning……..either head to work with a smile on your face or hope your lottery ticket was a winner from the weekend. Chances are, you’ll need to put that smile on and be prepared. If you are organized, planned and ready to go, it will take a little pressure of you Sunday night. Have a great work week everyone!!!
