Marijuana and ADHD

Posted Nov 10 2008 4:39pm 3 Comments

I recently came across this MSNBC segment about medicinal marijuana and ADHD. I'm actually quite disturbed by this video. They failed to mention that research has shown that smoking marijuana has a negative affect on teens and adults with ADHD. This segment ( up until the very end ) also leads people to believe that are talking about smoking marijuana when they aren't.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for learning about ADHD and research but I think MSNBC has done more harm than good with this one! I really wish they would have done a more balanced report.

what about the other harmful drugs they prescribe to little kid.
what about there other missed up drugs they prescribe to little kid, you dont  have adhd so you dont know what your talking about. do you think fake speed is better."Nearly all medicines have toxic, potentially lethal effects. But marijuana is not such a substance. There is no record in the extensive medical literature describing a proven, documented cannabis-induced fatality .... In strict medical terms marijuana is far safer than many foods we commonly consume ... Marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man."

nearly all medicines have toxic, potentially lethal effects. but marijuana is not such a substance. there is no record in the extensive medical literature describing a proven, documented cannabis-induced fatality...in strict medical terms marijuana is far safer than many food we commonly consume.... marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substance known to man. as someone who have adhd and smoke marijuana and have tried just about every single drug made for people with adhd i can say it is far safer than any prescription drug i've tried, and have way less side effects than any other prescription i've tried, which is 16 different drug none which worked. yes all medicines have side effects, but marijuana have less than most. so stop with your brainwashed propagada, and pregigusts, and do your research before you post something so ignorant. egt back to me via email blazy420@aol.com
