Hello Erica,
From all my research I have found Mindfulness to be incredible beneficial to ADD as it is essentially training our attention by focusing on our breath and the present moment, non judgmentally.
The research outpouring on the growth of our cognitive centers and cotex is quite something to look forward to as we progress.

I once had a meditation instructor who warned me that some types of meditation can be harmful to those with ADD, since they train Theta brainwaves. But he also said that Alpha wave enhancing meditations could be very beneficial. I never had a chance to get further clarification on which types of meditation would be most beneficial or potentially harmful to someone with ADD.
