After yesterday’s Dawsonsgiving splurge, I thought I’d get right back on track by making some green juice this morning. Green juice is a great post-splurge breakfast– it provides my body with lots of nutrients and enzymes, without all the fiber– so my body can keep working on yesterday’s massive feast without piling on more to digest!
Here’s what went into my juicer:

Green juice always tastes better when it’s served in a pretty glass.
This one was actually VERY tart! I guess my apple-to-lemon ratio was wayoff!! I ended up using my favorite trick to get it down– I stuck a straw in my glass, aimed it directly to the back of my throat, then gulped it down– without really tasting it!
Next time, I’ll be more conscious of how much lemon I put in… it seriously sent chills down my spineit was so tart!!
I have to say, though, I have yet to drink a single sip of coffee this morning, and I have a TON of energy! I’m seconds away from bouncing off walls right now! I love that effect of green juice.
And I need that energy… I was up until midnight watching this:
Yep, we watched the ENTIRE first season of Dawson’s Creek yesterday. All 13 episodes!! Whew!
I seriously don’t get why anyone found Dawson attractive, though… am I missing something?
Oh, and Yasha thoroughly enjoyed Dawsonsgiving, too
She was DESPERATE for turkey!! (we haven’t had a real one in our house for years, so she was EXCITED!!!!) Can’t you tell?
