I think almost everyone knows that it is important to have a budget. There are two major difficulties that adults with ADD have when preparing a budget. How to structure a budget, and the fear that their budget is going to be incomplete. Using a home finance computer program like Microsoft Money or Quicken helps to solve these problems. When setting up a budget these programs will ask you questions to help you better structure your budget, and because all the data is saved on the computer you can feel free to change your budget at any time. Remember the budget is a guide and it is not intended to be a finished product. A budget is putting a value of what is most important to you, and making sure you are using your money to accomplish those goals. Now repeat after me, A BUDGET DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT, A BUDGET DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT, A BUDGET DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT.
