Attention Deficit Disorder: The Unfocused Mind in Children and Adults

Posted Nov 10 2008 4:40pm

Attention Deficit Disorder: The Unfocused Mind in Children and Adults It's been quite while since I have written a book review here. One might think that since I received 3 new books about ADD over the past 3 months that it would have been very easy to have done 1 review book per month.

This wasn't the case for me at all since my Attention Deficit Disorder really kicked in and I could not decide which of the 3 books to begin with. Since challenges in making choices is related to Executive Functioning and ADD, it finally hit me that I should begin with the book Attention Deficit Disorder: The Unfocused Mind in Children and Adults by Thomas E. Brown, Ph.D.

This is one of the better books about Attention Deficit Disorder that I have read in quite some time. Tom Brown really explains the complexity of ADD very well and allows for a typical reader to understand it too. He also dispels many myths associated with Attention Deficit Disorder by explaining what is actually going in the brain.
