ADHD Awareness Week Teleseminars

Posted Sep 22 2008 10:23am

This week in the United States, we are celebrating ADHD Awareness Week.  That’s right…we now have an entire week to even further dedicate and promote awareness about a condition that affects approximately 7-10% of the population worldwide.  Worldwide!

While many people still believe that ADHD is a human creation…people around the world continue to struggle because they are not even aware of how their own differences pose different challenges.

To mark this week, the Senate has passed resolution649, marking September 18th as ADHD Awareness Day.  I’m not sure how many other “alleged” conditions have their own day (or week) to celebrate and promote awareness.
