A Happy ADD Brain for Health, Happiness & Romance?

Since I started winning the battle against ADD years ago, I found reading to be much more enjoyable. Doesn’t matter what way you slice and dice it, I’m never going to be able to sit down and read a book for two straight hours. It’s not gonna happen!

However, with the many books that people read, I had an interesting one handed to me last week by a friend. The Mars & Venus Diet & Exercise Solution by John Gray. Yup, the same John Gray who wrote the #1 best seller Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus. In this Diet & Exercise Solution, John refers to ADHD on a number of occasions and that got me thinking about the bi-line created for this book….”Create the Brain Chemistry of Health, Happiness and Lasting Romance”. Before you jump to any conclusions, no, I’m not turning this into a self help relationship blog. John Gray has written some good stuff, but also some fluff that makes me roll my eyes some times. However, I really like what he says about sustaining healthy brain chemistry with amino acids and other foods. It only makes sense that these supplements and foods would impact our brains and help with the battle against ADD/ADHD.
